I think certified nurse aides should have a concern for the patients and a passion for helping people. I wanted to be in the medical field since I was a small child, and I took this passion into my studies and beyond. As a highly skilled certified nursing assistant, I read you’re posting for a new nursing aide with interest. After graduation, I have completed a certified nursing assistant program to acquire skills. My training includes recording vital signs, keeping an accurate record of readings, and other relevant information. I can help patients perform daily activities like eating, taking a bath, and getting dressed. I have physical ability and stamina to help patients move from one area to another.
I have worked in hospitals and senior homes for more than 5 years and have been commended for the high level of care that I offer. In my current position, I am responsible to look after 15 elderly residents. My duties include helping them with daily living and hygiene and assisting them in entertainment activities. I pride myself on establishing rapport with both resident and their families to offer emotional support that would enable elderly patients to live in dignity.
In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I excel at testing patient vitals, coordinating with nurses to assist in patient care, carry out treatment protocol, and adhering to all guidelines and procedures. I am CPR certified and can respond quickly when needed. I can stay calm during emergencies and can take apt action depending on the situation. I am compassionate and sympathetic towards patients but also have the ability to remain professional.
