Accounting Analyst Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in gathering information and writing disclosures including financial statement and footnotes
  • Research new and proposed accounting standards and assist in determining how the company will account for and disclose these standards
  • Research accounting issues on proposed deals and other transaction throughout the company and assist in guiding the proper accounting treatment
  • Review subsidiary financial statement ensuring consistency with consolidated disclosures
  • Interact with senior financial management at the division and corporate office as well as non-financial executives in other departments
  • Interact with external auditors during the year-end audit and quarterly reviews
  • Process invoice, account payable, payroll and receivable
  • Process bank reconciliation and journal entries
  • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statement or other financial reports

Accounting Analyst Skills and Qualification:
