Executive Accountant Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a motivated Executive accountant who is capable of performing work at minimal assistance. The position will be directly responsible for acquiring new clients through a defined out sale sales process and establish initial contact to closing deals. The candidate must possess the curiosity to learn about business and keen ability to identify the need of prospective clients. They need to be self-motivated with an ambition to creatively get the job done. Your duties include developing a deep business relationship to help business leaders run firms more effectively, overcome objections of prospective clients, and be a critical member of the team. You must track and update CRM through the sales cycle and must help to define and shape the customer’s acquisition strategy.

Executive Accountant Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Must develop sales and accounting strategies
  • Prepare and review client and company transactions in QuickBooks
  • Produce financial account reconciliation limited to cash, AR, AP, fixed assets, investment, and equity
  • Prepare client invoice and payments
  • Prepare payroll, filings for client
  • Prepare and review month end, quarter end close process applicable to each client including the preparation and review of supporting schedules, reconciliation and analysis as required
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly client reporting
  • Assisting in the preparation of timely information and liaising with other departments to ensure tax deadlines are met
  • Managing client relationship when required
  • Mentorship, management and training and team members
  • Perform bookkeeping and general ledger function
  • Make apt correction in vendor account
  • Assist sales team in collecting payment from customers
  • Retain existing customers and develop a plan to target new clients

Executive Accountant Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in finance, sales or marketing
  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an account executive
  • Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
  • Understanding of MS Office and CRM software
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and a business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skill
  • Knowledge of current marketing, advertising current trends and best practice
  • Must be a problem solver and must possess strong leadership and decision-making skill
  • Deep understanding of the business sales process
