Forklift operators, also known as forklift drivers, are logistic specialists that run industrial vehicles in plants and factories, as well as railroad freight hubs and docks, and worksites. Forklift Operator Job Summary:

To carry products and packages across our facilities, we need a dependable and skilled Forklift Operator. In our storage areas and factories, you will be handling the forklift with extreme caution to ensure safety and reliability. Loading and unloading products from industrial vehicles will be your responsibility. Your roles and responsibilities as a forklift operator will involve going around storage rooms, factories, and other warehouses. You will be required to be the designated division for transporting the goods according to the production plan. In addition, you will be collecting the materials that have been transported to the warehouse. The goal of this position is to make sure that our staff has access to the appropriate items and supplies at all times. The goal is to maximize efficiency.

Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Unloading goods and supplies from inbound cars and arranging them in the warehouses according to their allotted placements.
  • Finding and transferring goods inventory to boxes or pallets for shipping or storage.
  • Detecting damages and informing senior management of quality deficiencies or shortages.
  • Transferring raw materials to the manufacturing facilities.
  • Inspect to see if the things being delivered are appropriately organized in the vehicles.
  • Examining machinery to see if it needs to be repaired and periodically maintaining it to ensure its safety.
  • Maintaining accurate activity logs and inventory information.
  • Shrinkwrapping protects and prepares products for travel by shrink-wrapping them or otherwise securing them.
  • Weighs and tracks product weights.
  • Examines manufacturing plans to determine when materials and products should be delivered.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies and legal processes.
  • Ensuring the facilities’ safe and healthy environment.

Forklift Operator Job Skills and Qualification:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • More than 2 years of expertise in a similar role
  • A valid forklift certificate is required.
  • Superb coordination of hands and eyes.
  • Expertise in the use of technical apparatus and RF scanners.
  • In good physical shape.
  • Mathematical prowess.
  • Attention to detail and experience with industrial machinery is required.
