Intern Architect Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Team up with the library design leadership to create design options
- Interact plan requires with the team
- Assist with all phases of design from concept to building paperwork
- Revise drawings and renderings
- Research the design team
- Attend meetings with clients to communicate the program’s need and expenditure
- Assist with design documentation using CAD and drafting investigate building code and regulations
- Create the building spec, detailing the requirements and planning
- Deal with the construction firms and manage the contract

Intern Architect Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in architecture
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the similar field
- Experience managing commercial work
- LEED Accreditation expertise
- Ability to stay focused on work and fulfill deadlines

- Willingness to jump in and study all aspects of our projects
- A positive approach to understanding and delivering project demands and corporate processes
- Expertise with REVIT and proper understanding of it is a plus
- Expertise with Sketchup, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam is a plus
- Must be able to work well in a cooperative, team-oriented atmosphere
- Must be able to pass a drug test prior to work placement
