In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the mechanic’s department with any appropriate duties. You will also be responsible for filling in occasionally driving one of our delivery routes which would require you to possess a CDL Class A License. Mechanical Helper Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists maintenance mechanic in repairing and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Carry tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas
- Hold scaffolding members in place or tighten the bolt to erect a working platform for machines
- Pull the handle to raise materials and tools to working level
- Loosen bolt to dismantle machinery
- Dig trenches for machinery foundation
- Mix and pour concrete for the foundation
- Oil and grease machines
- Clean machine with sandpaper, solvent, and wiping rags to prepare the surface for painting
Mechanical Helper Skills and Qualification:
