Production Engineer Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a degree in engineering or mechanical engineering. The position is functionally responsible to support the manufacturing team day to day floor support, tooling design, quality, and efficiency. The process improvement through collection and analysis of manufacturing data to improve safety, product quality, customer delivery, and cost reductions. He must provide on-floor process information for training and meeting engineering standards. Support and provide production associates the tools required to perform the job in a manner to meet all the requirements. Support special process and customer audits. The role will encompass both manufacturing engineering and quality. They should manage activities and budgets for manufacturing and process improvement projects.

Production Engineer Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify the manufacturing needs for new products in development
  • Ensure products and system requirement are taken into account from initial product conception to the finished result
  • Design fixtures and tooling for the assembly task
