A project director is responsible for overseeing staffs in various departments who are assigned to perform certain tasks and it is their duty to complete the given project on time. The project directors are involved in creating schedules and following up with workers ensuring each phase of work proceeds as planned. The project director initiates and sets goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization and plan programs from start to completion and finally approving budgets and operations. Project directors need to be experienced in handling a wide range of programs. They will be supervising managers and informing the management about the progress and performance. They supervise other departments heading and carrying out certain projects and keeps the senior management informed about the progress of the project.
