A QA analyst oversees the testing phase of the production process ensuring the final product meets company standard. They need to examine whether the products are functional, reliable, and meet user’s expectations. The job duties of a QA analyst includes designing and implementing testing plans for products, identifying procedures for the quality control of product and services, inform development team about defects and errors, communicate about the findings from a test result to the development team, monitor effort to resolve product issues and track progress, spot areas for improvement to enhance product efficiency. The QA analyst needs to hold a master’s degree and must have experience in quality control.

QA Analyst Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has completed a master’s in business administration or related field. The candidate needs to be responsible, self-motivated, and must have some knowledge about leading software tools and technologies including software quality assurance and test automation programming. Ideal candidates will be working closely with architects, developers, and business analysts ensuring that developed functionality meets requirements through testing and validation. As a QA tester, you are expected to think critically at the level of testing required that makes sense for each change being worked on in each stage of change in the lifecycle. The results of testing should be valuable feedback to engineers and product managers concerning the changes in the likelihood of effectiveness and confidence level of correctness. You need to validate defects in daily builds, and perform regression tests.  

QA Analyst Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts ensuring they are repeatable and meet the standards
  • Create and maintain QA artifact
  • Execute all level of testing which includes functional, integration, acceptance and regression
  • Document software defect and validate after defect resolution
  • Participate in product design reviews and provide input on the functional requirement, schedules, issues, and risk
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of QA testing tools and methodologies that best fit the project need
  • Handle issues related to QA testing component within a project
  • Adhere to specific QA testing standards and guideline for the project
  • Assists in the development of QA testing plans and cases
  • Create test data, execute and maintain tests and tests scripts
  • Review test scripts for completeness and accuracy

QA Analyst Skills and Qualification:
