The salesforce administrator is responsible for helping users develop reports and reset passwords to maintain data quality, adding fields, and running backups. Their primary task is to resolve user’s issues in real-time and many of their duties follow a weekly cycle. A few of their activities to be performed includes unlocking user account or resetting password due to user forgetfulness, dealing with SSO two factor authentication and certificate problems, adding IP addresses, helping users develop reports to yield meaningful metrics, troubleshooting email campaigns, workflow, approve cycles, and generate excessive bounced mails.

Salesforce Administrator Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Adding new users, checking system permission on users to restrict or provide the data access and modifying the existing accounts
  • Eliminate any type of duplicate contracts employing bulk updating them
  • Modifying and evolving the setup menu of the salesforce system by amending the page layout, picking the list value and establishing new assignment rules
  • Creating reports from the empirical data which is stored in the Salesforce CRM system and produces facts and figures that will aide in boosting the business income
  • Providing ongoing documentation his co-worker’s associates and clientele by updating the current certification so that clients and coworkers are on track with fresh salesforce improvement and announcement
  • Take ownership of project work and develop a relationship with all stakeholders
  • Developing custom Salesforce solutions that use objects, formula field, workflow, custom objects, page layout, approval process, and validation rules
