They are responsible for developing and implementing educational and counseling plans and give attention to cultural differences faced by students. The professional needs to be qualified and they serve as facilitators assisting students in developing their social and mental capacity. The job duties and responsibilities include providing academic advising for A state online students in both graduate and undergraduate degrees, providing comprehensive advertisement services to online students, provide degree plans and course recommendation to assist online students in completing their degrees in a most efficient way possible, answer to students queries through phone and email, assist in any walk-ins that may occur, other duties assigned. The candidate should possess technical skills to develop and use automated communication plans with prospects.

Student Advisor Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Handle and support admission, financial plannings, and academics
  • Follow up with students from their first course through graduation
  • Provide outstanding service and assistance to all current, prospective and former students
  • Ensure zero error rate in data gathering and entry
  • Quality check all work and perform duty promptly
  • Meet all deadlines and goals
