The candidate will be the part of a team of sourcing professionals to drive transforming sourcing and category strategies in close collaboration with business to deliver proactive and best in the industry results in supply chain and supplier risk management. These activities will involve developing and running strategic sourcing initiatives negotiating contracts and statements of work and supporting risk assessment for suppliers providing various goods and services through established corporate acquisition processes. They need to coordinate with the line of business to deliver the best in industry value when fulfilling requests for services and managing suppliers as a part of the supply chain team.
Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect data regarding operational capabilities, process, system and apply to the production schedule
- Utilize an understanding of unique characteristics of each category, product, classification, and factory to develop a supply plan
- Monitor key performance indicators
- Work with a partner to develop a supply plan and convert into a production schedule
- Must understand forward and backward leveling of supply to fulfill the demand
- Incorporate key component items and constraint into the supply plan and schedule customer to meet customer demand on time
- Coordinate and oversee R&D support process and ensure all project request are well planned to avoid unnecessary production delays
- Manage inventory level to ensure customer service levels are maintained while meeting company objectives and inventory turn targets
- Need to proactively develop strategies to improve security quality, lower cost and drive innovation through key supply chain partners supporting the business
Supply Chain Analyst Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in any subject
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in database management, programming skills, and querying languages
