Video Editor Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a talented video editor who can immediately join our busy production team. He must enjoy crafting stories for a branded series and interestingly repurposing library content. You must have knowledge communicating through various social media platforms within the agency and working in a fast-paced environment must easily come to you. You should be able to work with a team but also enjoy handling individual responsibilities and workload. You must have knowledge editing an array of content types and advise other videos of other content that aligns with campaign and client needs. You should be able to create title cards and end the cards that align with trailers. You must possess motion graphic design or animation skills and must have a strong understanding of best practices for exporting graphics for the social platform. You must respond to creative feedback on assignments promptly.

Video Editor Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The video editor must manipulate and edit film pieces in a way visible to the audience
  • They should take a brief to grasp production teams needs
  • Must review shooting scripts to create shot decision list based on scenes value
  • The candidate should be familiar with creating short-form social content and long-form digital videos.
  • Must be able to mix video editing and motion graphics seamlessly into a finished product that will work for a variety of social media platform
