Dear Hiring Manager,

The expanding field of food and nutrition requires dietary aids to remain educated and well trained. I believe my experience and knowledge will make me the best candidate for the position. I have submitted my resume and other credentials for your consideration. I feel my background would be an asset to your company.

As a professional with more than 5 years of experience in the foodservice, I have provided a significant contribution as a dietary aide. I am well-positioned to make the health care service to grow and I am dedicated to working with a team with the same passion for growth and success that I apply to my profession. My epitome has allowed me to hone my critical reasoning skills, also my food knowledge helps me to prepare for this position.

I have been helping those who have diet issues for more than 5 years and confident I can bring a difference in people’s lives. I offer an enjoyable diet and don’t make those who need special food feel that they are eating edibles which would be considered tasteless. I can work directly with a dietician and can come up with recipes for large food production that is not only healthy but can offer a flavorful meal.

Furthermore, I have hands-on experience preparing and portioning of food items and serving beverages. I can wash pots and pan, clean and sanitize the work area, transport utensils, and maintain a record of food served. I possess excellent written and communication and time management skills. I can work independently with minimal supervision. I am highly organized and capable of guiding patients with their diet.

I know you will find me familiar with long term care environment and eager to do the best job I can. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application and I am looking forward to speaking with you about this job.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Thomas
