The chief accounting is responsible\nfor managing all accounting activities of both the financial and management\naccounts of an organization. They prepare financial data and performance reports,\nassist departments with annual budget and reviews, and handle internal control\nand tax studies. They must possess a CPA license in good standing. They must be\nan experienced professional with extensive knowledge in corporate and personal\ntax. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking to hire a chief accountant to join our finance department and manage the major reporting and reconciliation duties of the company. We need an outstanding professional who possesses inherent leadership qualities and attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate reporting to all areas. The chief accounting manager will have oversight of the monthly close, review journal entries, reconciliation, variances explanation, mentoring accountant, and handling special projects as assigned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The professional needs to mentor and train accounting team, lead month-end closing including plan, coordinate, schedule, and review financial operations, prepare monthly reporting package for senior management, answer to the queries that arise from the reporting package, incorporate daily monitoring and analysis to ensure balance sheet account reconciliations and check whether they are free of misstatements and errors, provide support in the analysis of development in GAAP, and support and function as a liaison with the IT team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
