The job duties of a Linux system\nadministrator involve developing server, setup, and installation making sure\nthe system works reliably, set up the architecture of the system, perform\nroutine system maintenance, review error logs and report the error, and deploy\nchanges throughout the system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking to hire a successful\ncandidate who has a degree in IT or STEM or a related field. Working with our dynamic operation team which\nincludes technical engineer, DevOps engineer, development team, and technical\nleadership, the Linux system administrator will support the existing window-based\nCOTS applications and ultimately need to be comfortable handling the Linux\nplatform environment. The position will focus on managing all system\nadministration duties including troubleshooting and resolving issues at the\noperating system or the server level. Tour responsibilities include performance\nmonitoring analysis, application-level upgrades and patching, database server\npatching, database index maintenance and backups, operating system\nconfiguration, upgrades and patching, STIG installation and verification,\nincident identification, root cause analysis, and resolution, recommended and\nimplementation of new improved processes and procedures for system\nadministration and maintenance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
