Parts advisors work in car\ndealership shops and their primary duty is to order and sell a variety of\nvehicle parts and accessories. A candidate in this role must possess mechanical\nknowledge and they must hold a degree in the automotive field. Their job\nresponsibilities include assisting daily and weekly inventories, ordering accessories\nfor high-end model car, truck, and SUV, assist technicians on-hand parts and\nordering specialized parts for customer repair, responsible for opening and\nclosing department, understanding sales training and new product information,\nhandle billing system, manage inventory and sales for a store, responsible for\nprocessing store deposits, and resolving customer issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking to hire a parts\nadvisor who is responsible for assisting all mechanics and customers in\npurchasing needed parts and supplies. They are responsible for achieving monthly\nsales and gross forecasts and for seeking out and soliciting parts business. The\nparts advisor reports directly to the parts manager. The job responsibilities\ninclude tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership, locating\navailable parts when the dealership is out of stock, handling parts payment\ncollection and make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service\ndepartment, packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to\ntime and complete the apt record keeping, refer to parts manual to identify\nexactly the right part for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
