The aide needs to assist the office\ncoordinator and clinician by performing administrative and clerical duties. The\nduties will be conducted in compliance with the state practice act requirement.\nThe essential duties to be performed include preparing patients for treatment,\nassist during the administration of treatment and provide routine treatment,\nclean work area, and equipment after treatment, provide routine treatment such\nas hot\/cold packs, and other modalities such as ultrasound electrical\nstimulation, etc, safeguard motivate assist patients practicing exercises and functional\nactivities under the direction of professional staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Rehab Aide Responsibilities and\nDuties:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Provide supportive and ancillary services to the  professional staff of the department&nbsp; of physical medicine and rehabilitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing and cleaning whirlpools and attend patient while in the whirlpool<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist patient in donning and doffing of prosthetic or orthotic device<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist patient in dressing and undressing in preparation of treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the therapists in setting up the patient on all therapeutic equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain linen and other supplies at all times at disposal of professional staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare cold and hot pack for use by the therapists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjusts non-modality equipment for patient use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assists therapists in training patients and able to provide support to patients while transferring low patients to the floor in case of the total loss of balance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify the need of patients to modify and deliver care that is specific to those needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs daily scheduling and completes daily assignment sheet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Rehab Aide Skills and Qualification:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to take directions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>License and certification required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate interest in the rehabilitation field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energetic and a team player<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to demonstrate compassionate towards patient<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete task thoroughly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of handling office equipment is needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to document all projects and manage production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to details and time management skill is required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specific vision requirement includes the ability to see at close range distance vision, peripheral vision, depth precipitation and ability to adjust focus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick learner with a positive attitude<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introduction: Rehab aide works under the supervision of physical therapists and they assist immobile patients performing physical tasks.
