A physical therapy assistant employs physical therapists and helps patients to walk properly after an injury or illness temporarily. Their duties vary and they spend most of the time helping patients to move their body slow by showing new stretches and exercise and help them to get them back on track. They focus on the patient’s range of motion and require a lot of physical work. They spend their day carefully observing patients and they record careful notes about each patient’s progress so that they work together with the therapist to determine the best step in the patient’s recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a license and a graduate from an approved PTA program and is actively working in this field. The PTA is responsible for implementing a treatment program established by the therapist as per state and federal law and regulations. The primary responsibility of PTA is to provide direct physical therapy intervention as planned and delegated and supervised by the therapists. The person in this role will record the treatment and note progress in medical records. In this role, you are entrusted to ensure a high degree of quality care that can be provided to our residents at all times.
