A veterinary assistant has to look after non-farm animals in the lab, animal hospitals, and clinics. They need to take care of animals by performing the routine task under the supervision of a v<\/strong>eterinarian. <\/strong>They have to perform mainly daily tasks such as feeding, weighing, and taking the temperature of animals. The veterinary assistant plays a vital role in helping veterinary doctors and they need to help with surgery and other procedures. They prepare equipment, pass surgical instruments while performing surgery. The job duties of a veterinary assistant include a monitor and care animals after surgery, sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, clean and disinfect cages, examine the operating room, and provide emergency first aid to sick animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
