A backend developer is responsible for building and maintaining the technology needed to power the component which enables user-facing sides of the website to exist. The backend of the website consists of three parts, a server, application, and database. The backend developer should be able to create, maintain, test, and debug the entire backend. The tasks include core application logic, databases, API, data and application integration, and other backend processes. The back-end developer plays a major role with the web development teams ensuring the data or service requested by the front-end software are delivered. They back up and restore technologies for website files and DB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
