The It director needs to perform certain duties like analyzing workflow and delegating goals, developing and maintaining performance standards, implementing and monitoring new projects, making hiring decisions, supervising the IT team, preparing the financial budget, and presenting the proposal for capital projects to senior executives, researching and recommending new products, identifying new market opportunities, and leading effort to improve IT process. The IT director should hold a Master’s degree in management information systems, database management technology, or global information management. They should be able to solve real-world technology challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
