Special education teachers oversee the education and training of students with mental and learning disabilities. The design and deliver lessons geared towards individual needs and capabilities of the student under their supervision. Special education teacher teaches at preschool, middle and high-level school. They at least need to have a bachelor’s degree specifically in special education. Some states require candidates to have a master’s degree in special education.
