The project engineer schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering project and they are responsible for interacting daily with the clients meeting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field. They need to monitor compliance to applicable code, practices, QA policies, performance standards, and specifications. The duties of a project engineer include managing the project resource plan and budget, managing project issues, risk, and action, assigning responsibilities and mentor project team, implement and manage project changes and intervention to achieve project output, project evaluation and assessment of results, perform risk management to minimize project risks, coordinate with external stakeholders. The project managers are responsible to handle all engineering and technical disciplines that the project involves. They need to schedule, plan forecasts resources, and manage all technical activities. They aim to assure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking to hire a successful candidate who has a degree in engineering and who has experience working with heavy civil projects ideally with earthwork, excavation, water, or hydro. The candidate will be responsible for all routine onsite project administration, scheduling, and engineering. You will plan, coordinate and manage on-site construction engineering activities and schedules, holding communication with subcontractors. Will prepare monthly pay estimates and update the project CPM schedules. Also prepare, coordinate, and update job budgets, change order, and cost reports for management review and approval. The job duties include prepare drawings, plans, quantity reports, review pay subcontractor pay estimates before management approval, review the owners’ pay estimate before management approval, supervise cost report management and lead regular review meetings, and manage the project document control system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
