Structural engineers need to perform certain duties which include preparing reports, designs, and drawings, calculating pressure, loads, and stresses, consider the strength of construction material and select appropriately, provide technical advice on safe designs and constructions, obtain building regulations approval, analyze the configuration of the basic component of the structure, liaise with the professional staff such as architect and engineers, monitor and inspect all the work undertaken by the contractors to ensure structural soundness, administer contracts and manage projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
