In grooming centers or salons, the salon assistant is responsible for performing regular tasks. They would be able to accomplish the complex task under guidance once they have gained experience. They’ll work in salons for ladies, guys, or both. They should be prepared to work in a variety of shifts and be on their feet for most of the day. They will be in constant touch with the general population, so they must be well-dressed. A salon assistant’s responsibilities include comb brushing, spray shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing the hair, applying temporary hair color and removing residual color products, applying and maintaining safe and hygienic work practices, maintaining work areas by mopping the floor and cleaning racks, assisting with salon reception duties, preparing refreshments for clients, assisting senior staff with tasks, and displaying and maintaining stock. They may also expect you to handle administrative tasks and make appointments. They have the option of working full-time or part. Daytime, they should meet customers with exceptional customer service abilities and keep them pleased. They should be capable of multitasking and have management abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
