The nursing attendant performs routine patient care with the supervision of the staff nurses. They work in health care centers as well as care facilities such as care homes, group homes, and residential care. Assisting patients with bathing and feeding, positioning immobile patients, collecting vitals, and evaluating and documenting their health are all part of the work. They inform the supervisor of any changes, assist patients in walking with a walker or other equipment, change the sheets and secure environment for patients, raise, transfer, and move patients using correct techniques, cure-all patients and family members with regard, and interact with them politely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking to hire a nursing assistant who has a high school diploma, certification, and expertise in a similar field. During the designated duty hours, the nursing assistant acts as a caretaker for the patient. Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse, they offer nursing care and basic daily support to assigned patients. Support with basic life activities such as bathing, cleaning, toileting, feeding, preparing meals, and dining, as well as spiritual and emotional requirements. Execute chores and therapies that have been allotted to you. Keep track of vital records and other essential health data. Patients’ non-invasive biological specimens will be collected as needed. Handle clerical activities related to patient schedule and documentation. Organize and cleanse patient treatment rooms; arrange and clean medical devices; and discard the biomedical waste following the norms and policy. Ensure that the patient’s living spaces or rooms are clean. Assists assigned residents with basic medical needs, such as showering, going to the toilet, hygiene, clothing, changing clothes, getting and documenting vital signs, and providing psychological support and other personal services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
