A CDL driver job varies in terms of working hours, night spend on the road, and quality of equipment operated but this is one of the fastest-growing occupations in the US. The CDL truck drivers are long-distance drivers and their job involves loading and unloading cargo onto trucks at various destinations. It is their duty to inspect the truck prior to the trip as well as at the end of the trip. Drivers assist safe unloading of cargo at warehouses and they keep a log of all working hours and miles driven. The driver must keep the vehicle clean, presentable and in good working condition. They should know how to perform minor repairs if the vehicle faces any mechanical problem in between of the trip.
