The income auditor is a finance professional and their primary duty is to audit and substantiate all revenue transactions, document them, and prepare daily and monthly sales reports for the management as per company policies and rules. They should inspect all revenue transactions for consistency and verify the transaction for accuracy and ensure the financial transaction tally. They record and register the company’s revenue and few other duties they usually perform include implementing economic policies, averting monetary theft, tracing incoming funds, coding the financial entries, conforming the balance sheet with financial receipts, producing income statements, and presenting the income statement to the management. The income auditor is an accountant and they have to maintain the records used by other departments and be responsible for performing certain tasks like tax preparation, profit, and loss analysis, and protecting the company against monetary theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
