Introduction:

A cart pusher is a person who collects carts from the carpark, storage docks and sends them to the business for customers to use. The major responsibility of the cart pusher is to recover carts from parking garage docking sites. Some retail parking spaces have a single central cart stop, while others have multiple cart stations. The cart-pushing role is frequently allocated to an entry-level store employee who also does other basic labor chores. After retrieving the carts, the pusher transports them either into the shop or to an external loading area where clients’ carts are parked. When a group of carts is restored to the loading bay, the clerk either joins them to the remainder of the row or begins a new one. Existing clients are frequently waiting for carts, and the pusher has the opportunity to offer them one before moving on to the next run. Cart pushers are also in charge of equipment maintenance and safety. In congested parking areas, cart pushers must move carts with caution to prevent colliding with autos. If the shop does have retrieving equipment, a flashing lot is usually present to alert visitors.
