To diagnose and check aircraft with limited supervision, aircraft mechanics must have good decision-making and critical-thinking skills. An airplane mechanic should be able to use aviation tools and materials, document sources, and notify any safety issues that arise. Aircraft mechanics examine and report all maintenance and repairs to verify it satisfy performance criteria. They are in charge of fixing the plane’s structure and skin, which are made of metal, fabric, wood, or composites. Using sophisticated manuals and drawings, keeping service and maintenance logs, and executing diagnostic procedures are all part of an aircraft mechanic’s job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
