A quality analyst is responsible for handling the final step of developing a game or software before it gets released to the public. Quality analysts are also known as test analyst and they make sure the games, website, and software are fully functional and user-friendly. They search for flaws and weaknesses in the program and report developers about their findings. They fix problems or make suggestions for how to rectify issues in the software program to make them work better. The job duties of a quality analyst includes developing and executing test plan and ensuring the goals are met, implementing and monitoring test scripts assessing the functionality, reliability, and quality of product, identifying defects within the production process, recommending and implementing corrective actions to ensure quality assurance standards are met, compiled and analyzed statistical data, ensure user expectations are fulfilled during the process and handling customer complaints and product issues.
